I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World

Chapter 75 - Who’s The Boss?

"Are you alright, Captain Wudi?" Officer Phuc quickly offered his help after seeing the captain not getting back up after falling on his back.

"Haiz..." Captain Wudi issued a long sigh before he continued to lay on the ground with a serene smile, "Fine... I am fine. This is fine too..."

"The chief will give us an earful once he comes in tomorrow... but for now, at least the front entrance is still intact. Everything should look normal from the front..." Officer Phuc changed the topic after Captain Wudi refused his help.

However...

Creak.

One of the front entrance\'s doors that had been hanging onto its dear life finally snapped off and dropped to the ground with a thud.

"..."

Captain Wudi raised his head slightly for a glance before resting his head on the ground again.

"Nice jinx." He said.

Officer Phuc\'s lips twitched.

"What are we going to do with the Tiger-Dragon Brothers?" Officer Phuc queried shortly after.

Captain Wudi did not answer immediately but fell into quiet contemplation.

Sometime later, Captain Wudi spoke, "I am about to make the most important decision in my life."

"Oh? And what would that be?" Officer Phuc was intrigued.

"Keep the Tiger-Dragon Brothers locked securely under my orders. Don\'t release them even if the Bloodmoon Gang calls. Who knows, maybe something good will happen out of me supporting a future King Hunter, or possibly even a future Emperor."

Officer Phuc gazed at Captain Wudi with suspicion before he asked with surprise, "Did you finally grow a pair, Captain Wudi? Or did you picked up the lost peaches from Tiger-Dragon Mountains? You\'ve always played it safe by not offending any sides until now, sir."

Nevertheless, Captain Wudi sure had some high hopes. There were only four Emperors in the world.

"What on earth are you talking about?" Captain Wudi frowned before he said, "I\'m f*cked either way, so I might as well pick a side in hopes of something good happening that just might save my hide from the chief."

"Right..." Officer Phuc got his hopes up for nothing.

Captain Cao Wudi was still CaoWudi.

Meanwhile, Albion played with a Phantasmium-coated bullet in his hand after he left the station with his bag.

At that moment, traces of a cut could still be seen on his thumb before it was ultimately healed under his passive regenerative ability.

Shortly after scouting the area with Eyes of Ashura, he took a few steps and disappeared into the night.

...

At the same time, Boss Gai stood on the rooftop of a tall distant building with a pair of binoculars in his hands, roughly 500 meters away from the station.

"The target is leaving the building. Watch him carefully and don\'t wait for my signal. If you see a good chance, take the shoot!" Boss Gai before taking his pair of binoculars down.

"Yes, Boss Gai!" The snipers answered.

However, it did not even two breathes before the first sniper exclaimed, "I suddenly lost sight of the target, Boss Gai!"

"I lost sight of the target too!" The second sniper of the rooftop added.

Shortly after, Boss Gai received another two messages from snipers on the other rooftop buildings before using his binoculars pair.

After failing to locate the target, Boss Gai immediately frowned, "You all had one job. One f*cking job."

"Sorry, Boss Gai. The target was too fast." The snipers lowered their heads in shame.

"What now, boss? What about the Tiger-Dragon Brothers?" A lackey asked.

"We\'ll fetch them later. Those cowardly policemen won\'t dare to keep them for long. Still, these Tiger-Dragon Brothers are a tad too weak for not being able to handle a single young man." Boss Gai said with annoyance.

The lackey and snipers were taken aback. The Tiger-Dragon Brothers are weak?

"Did you stop to think that perhaps, that young man is just simply too strong instead, boss?" The lackey asked.

Boss Gai momentarily froze like his mind short-circuited before he frowned, "Of course, I did. Don\'t treat me like some dumb guy."

"But boss, you are not just some Dum Gai. You\'re THE Dum Gai." The lackey articulated in case he pissed off his boss.

However, Dum Gai was still enraged as he pulled out his handgun on the lackey immediately, "What did you just say?! Do you want to die?!"

"B-Boss, I didn\'t call you dumb guy! I called you Dum Gai! Isn\'t that your name?!" The lackey quickly spouted in fear.

"Oh yeah, you right. Curse that drunkard for a father of mine for naming me as such. They just sound too similar," Dum Gai sighed.

\'No, no, no, no. They sound exactly the f*cking same. You only self-convince yourself that they don\'t!\' Everyone thought silently in their hearts.

As Dum Gai lowered his handgun, he accidentally pressed the trigger with his fat fingers.

Bang!

A bullet hole was seen on the ground with a trail of white smoke rising between the lackey\'s legs, causing the lackey to tremble slightly.

Nevertheless, the lackey wiped the cold sweats shortly after for having dodged a bullet, like literally.

"My bad." Dum Gai chuckled.

"Boss, considering we lost sight of such a strong enemy, would there be any chance he could be coming after us as we speak?" A sniper suddenly asked with an uneasy feeling.

"That\'s not possible. Only the rocket team had exposed themselves. We haven\'t done anything that would give away our location y—yeah nah, I ain\'t risking it. Pack your sh*t, and let\'s go. We\'re getting the f*ck outta here."

Dum Gai quickly reached the rooftop entry door ahead of everyone else and opened the door.

However, his gaze quickly fell on a pair of crimson eyes that slightly glowed under the moonlight in the night before his expression turned stiff.

"Surprise, Mada Fackers. It\'s ya boi, Albion coming in to crash the party." Albion greeted in slang before planting a quick kick on Dum Gai\'s chest.

Bam!

Dum Gai immediately flew back like a cannonball, shooting past his men and off the edge in an instance.

"Haaaaa—!" Dum Gai cried as he took the plunge down the thirty-story building.

"Oops, guess I used a tad too much force again. No matter. We can do with one less." Albion said before shortly gazing at the remaining men. "Who\'s the boss here?"

No one answered.

They all subconsciously turned their heads towards the edge where Dum Gai disappeared before Albion was enlightened with a dampened mood, "Oh… he\'s the boss."
